Colin has been a teacher of music to all ages from infants to U3A groups and now has students from Taiwan to San Francisco, Honolulu to Australia.

As an arranger he has recorded over 1,100 Youtube performances and arranged numerous other works for Guitar, Mandolin, Electronic Keyboard, Harp and Ensembles of all kinds including full Orchestras.

As a performer he has played Guitar, Mandolin, Bass and Bassoon in many settings, from Rock to Jazz, Folk to Classical. Now, as a Ukeholic, he can be found performing at various ukulele clubs, festivals and workshops, on trains, buses and in airports, in fact where ever there is a chance to sit and play! He is also introducing and promoting the lovely range of LEHO ukuleles to the UK.

As a composer he has written many instrumental pieces both for Trinity and VCM exams for Guitar Electronic Keyboard and of course Ukulele and also over a hundred songs and a Mandolin Concerto. His first published piece “Skeleton Blues” was in the “BMG” magazine when he was 17.

As an examiner for VCM (The Victoria College of Music) he has the pleasure of hearing musicians of all ages and abilities from all over the world, including through the newly introduced Skype exams that have managed to shrink the world to a friendlier size!
